A personal note from the Director

Dear Public,

The Carmel School of Massage & Healing Arts is closing its doors permanently on July 31, 2019. This is a voluntary decision by the owner and the administrative staff. In addition, we are closing on good terms with each other, our students, our oversight agencies, and our city.

To Future Massage Therapy Students:  it was always our vision to emphasize connection to others as part of the massage therapist’s interaction with clientele.  We suggest finding a school that will help facilitate warm, nurturing, healing touch, as too quickly the clinical side of our profession is taking over from looking at the humanity of others, finding something to love about them, and honoring individual differences.   Good Luck on your endeavors!

To Past Students:  We honor and thank you all for your gifts and spirit you brought during your time with us. We always said we learned as much from you as you did from us!

To Student Clinic Clients:  Thank you for supporting our student clinic over the past 8 years and for helping our students learn from your positive feedback, and helpful criticism.  Some graduates have offered to give discounts for a limited time as they are now charging professional rates.  If you would like to be considered for this promotion, email nicole@carmelschoolofmassage.comand I will get you in touch with the appropriate person.  Not all students are offering this, so it will be considered on a case by case basis.

We are required by the state to remove all mention of the school from the internet and social media in the near future.

Have a Blessed Journey,

Nicole M. Zollinger-Muench, B.S., CMT
